Robotics and Covid19: how is the virus changing us?

How has the Virus changed us?

With the pandemic, not only our way of life and our priorities have changed.

People are generally spending less, not leaving the house except for the bare minimum, and reevaluating all their personal potentials to best overcome what is happening. Young people are working on IT platforms that allow active participation in school lessons; parents are working in smart working and trying not to lose time, attention and expertise in their roles.

The industrial sector must revolutionize its production methods to respond effectively.

Many companies worked to some degree during the lockdown, and many others are starting up again now.
Entrepreneurs are weighing all government and European decisions to obtain what liquidity they can to cover the costs of challenging investments and, above all, those of the urgency of the coming months.

For manufacturing companies: from the smallest artisans, to the largest such as multinational corporations, now more than ever robotization and automated systems are a concrete and safe solution not only for survival, but also and especially for the productive development of the company itself.

Structurally, too, many situations have changed: employees in many businesses can comfortably work from home, devoting the necessary time to the business on a daily basis, not polluting with daily commutes and decreasing the cost, stress and loss of time of changing location.

Convenience comes at a different price: for the employee, the goal to be achieved becomes a need for performance toward the Executive. But, being able to manage the time resource differently, one works much better. This is the first major revolution, sensed several years ago in northern European countries.

As for manual labor, and for mass production labor in the factory, entrepreneurs are boldly reevaluating the inclusion of robotic machines, to make up for less "crowded" staffed lines, to ensure safety spacing and to ensure production constancy.

The benefits of robots in the enterprise in the pandemic era?

Robots work with the virus and without: robots can be large in size for use in heavy and wearing work, or small in support alongside operators, corobots.

Robotizing is an efficient solution to survive, improve product and grow as a leader in your market.

At such a time of instability, robotizing proves to be the keyword for moving forward and reaching new horizons.

The worker will learn to live side by side with the robots and work better, safely and with more motivation.

The laborer who manually moves, stacks, and frames an object on a daily basis (for 365 days a year for 40 years) should no longer exist: today there are efficient solutions that motivate staff, stimulate their attention, and reward them.

Now, more than ever, is the time to intervene and lift up companies with intelligence and entrepreneurial spirit.
Companies need to work and expand, but they also have a moral, ethical and civic duty to protect them and safeguard the workforce for safe and profitable cooperation.
